Calendar -
having a nice big display of the day number and name.

tclock -
text clock, with configurable format. Though I would prefer three
lines instead of two and a tooltip.

default clock -
Analogue clock.

The pop up month display from calendar and default is nice as well.

So for me, if default clock is to be the perfect and only one, then I
would do this -

The main display looking like the default's popup, with analogue clock
next to a calendar, though the calender side looking like the calender
modules main dispaly. Upto three lines of configurable text (like
tclock) overlayed on top of the analogue clock. The popup can stay the
same is the default.

All this should be configurable options, don't want to annoy everyone
with my taste in date/time widgets.

For extra bonus points - show local holidays.

To really make me drool - allow to add notes to specific dates, that
pop up when you click on the date in the popup calendar. With rules to
add regular ones, including fortnightly. And a "where the hell are all
my notes" button to manage them. Just a pipe dream. lol

Oh, and last time I checked, one or more of these widgets would not
update on month and year roll overs. Guess I'll know which ones
tomorrow.

You asked. B-)
