It does not look to good to get somthing running. Only 3 people indicated interest in such a conf in the wiki. While 11 showed interest in attending the FOSDEM. Not that much can be taken from these numbers as people may have ben lazy to add themself to the wiki but it looks not like we would have enough interested people for this place and date. Neither do we have a local who would be able to take care of the location handling. Seems we should focus on just attending FOSDEM and socialising there while thinking more about a first E conf in the future. Raster and cedric suggested that we might should try to piggyback on the next ELC-E in Barcelona, November 2012. Its a Linux Foundation event which normally has other conferences dragged around it as well. With some advance planning we might be able to collaborate with them regarding conference space and dates. This would also allow from further away to only have one flight while attending several conferences.
