I never see the point in having index as an independent widget as opposed to a decoration of indexed elements. Could anyone explain? I can explain why having them different is painful: - desktop have clickable scrollbar, usually at right. Index usually goes at right -> conflict! - sometimes people add the index to the window, instead of the list... then you get index outside of list boundaries So far it could go into genlist/gengrid/list.. any more? Maybe scroller in general?
