I'm using the V8 library that comes with Arch Linux (3.6.6.20), which
was released September 2011 according to v8's SVN. HasOwnProperty() has
a JavaScript counterpart (Object.hasOwnProperty()), so I thought it
would be available in V8 since a long time ago.
What distribution/version are you using?
