I've brought this up in Bodhi Forum as well but I figured I'd add it here. There are quite a few pieces of software that make E hang on reboot. It's been pointed out that this is the fault of the software not taking "normal kill commands" which I'm sure is true but all of the software packages that I'm having issues with don't cause hangs in other distros (Ubuntu or Fedora). Two that consistently cause issues are Clementine & gpodder. It's not a huge problem but I have gpodder start up with my system so I basically can never normally shut down, instead it hangs and then a minute later gives me the warning about if I want to wait longer or not
