Just this week I tried switching to EFM for accessing USB media. Using
SVN 71790:

1) I plug in a USB flash drive. It appears on the desktop with the "M"
icon. When I double-click it, the EFM window shows no files. If I hit
refresh, the files show up.

2) Insert a USB flash drive with multiple partitions (Debian USB
install stick) and then Eject it. Rather then go away, both icons
remain, labeled with their filenames: "|sdd_1.desktop",
"|sdd_2.desktop". To fix this requires disabling and re-enabling the
display of device icons.

3) After I have the icons in the broken state from #2, insert a normal
USB flash drive. One icon changes to indicate that it is mounted. No
name change. No result if I click it. After the fix in #2, things
works as they did in #1 again.
