That's weird. I trust your code knowledge. But I have my files in 
~/Arbeitsfläche and they used to be displayed by e_fm.
Now they are not shown anymore since e assumes ~/Desktop, which is wrong. 
Either the translation is missing or Microsoft translators did the translation 
for e17 as well :-P
