free(NULL) works free(GARBAGE), don't. He's not checking if variable is null - free(ev->audio_channels); + if (ev->audio_channels_count) free(ev->audio_channels); But, yeah, it doesn't look fix. We'll commit a fix setting these points to NULL on the correct place.
