I've always had battery module working fine without any particular setting, just as it comes out of the box, hence with hardware=automatic. yesterday I've rebuilt all from svn (75815) and now the module isn't able anymore to fetch the correct battery level. well it actually fetch it at start, but then it doesn't update it anymore. this happens if hardware=udev or =automatic (so I assume it automatically uses udev), with hardware=internal the level reported is correct and constantly updated.
