Just look at our logs, there a huge of stupid comments for commits How much time will it take to force people to write good commits comments ? Look at the time it take to force people to update correctly doc and NEWS (i don't mention changelog as you don't care) ? I had to send plethore of mails to remember people to do properly Ok, now a guy commit something with a bad comment for the commit.
