Second Life and it's offspring use odd formats like TIFF and JPEG2000. I have lots of those images here. On the other hand I want to wean them off those, but that would just be my EFL based fork, others would still have to deal with those files, and I'd still have to deal with them from others coz of that. On the gripping hand, gif and tiff should be optional, and there's no support for jpeg2000 outside of obscure areas anyway. -- A big old stinking pile of genius that no one wants coz there are too many silver coated monkeys in the world.
