I still can't see a use case where ./autogen.sh --disable-physics wont work.

For packaging, ephysics can be disabled - but efl users will loose physics 
features
both by not provided EPhysics API and edje support, if distros have problems
packaging efl with physics support they should keep bullet packages in a better
shape - and we efl developers should impose that, otherwise we'll never have
our libraries in use due a distro packaging situation. Forcing EPhysics to be
disabled by distros will put the library in the limbo for ever, distro packages
users are a very good audience and we must desire that.

In cases where the user wants to install it from source code there's enough
information to guide the entire process - if it's not true *we* should provide
better informations.

Since we're good guys our README also guide users on how to build bullet from
source code. :)
