read your description. seriously. NOWHERE does it indicate HOW you are
selecting. let me post it here for you in case you didnt read it. i DID:

"I've brought this issue up a couple times, but the Lord & Master of Text has
been dismissive in the past about it so I am reopening it for real discussion.

Currently, the word selection code does not include spaces surrounding words.
What do I mean by this?

Consider the text "the text ". If the text cursor is positioned at the start,
selecting/deleting the next word SHOULD include the space between the words. If
the text cursor is positioned at the end of this, selecting/deleting the
previous word SHOULD include the trailing space. This would be consistent with
every other toolkit and desktop.

EFL entries do not. Instead, because of an arbitrary decision, we are the only
environment where spaces are never included in words. This needs to be fixed
immediately as EFL gains adoption on the desktop, since it's very noticeable
when you switch from a GTK app to an EFL app and expect your text editing to
function the same."

of the content, half of it is complaints, not details, of the half that is it
is "selecting/deleting the next word"... i double click to do that. you do not
explain HOW to select. do you mean to select using a specific mechanism? i can
hit ctrl+right arrow to begin or extend a selection char by char, if i hit it
enough times i can select the word and the space. do you mean this? i can
easily get the space selected. do you mean ctrl+shift+right arrow? of the
comments someone asked if you mean by ctrl+arrow selection/jumping of the
cursor? you chose never to answer that with an affirmative or negative.

i spent my time going thru the ticket AND comments before i did videos. i had
no idea what u really meant. if you wish to make snide remarks like "but the
Lord & Master of Text has been dismissive in the past", then expect push back
and people going "wtf? works for me". after i looked into it and found it was
working just fine for me, you indicated you mean it's by specific key controls,
and you should put that in your ticket.
