but inlists have existed as long as evas has... whihc predates ibar. :).

inlists make the list bits part of the object. that means u basically can only
have the object in a single list at a time. it can save a little bit of memory
and reduce fragmentation, but in gneral inlists are used only if/where there is
a real big saving worth the limitation.
