So you might be right. > > Or not, it's still too sloppy. Updated an hour ago. Ah, it's not quite how I described it. What's happening is that sometimes it's an unexpected window that gets focus. In the above description it was an "Always below", "Sticky", "Skip things" window that was getting the focus, making it look like the window that was above it had the mouse warp to it, even though the top window was not focused, the one below it was. This happens even if this background window is not under the mouse after the desktop switch, but some other window is. I mean, not under the mouse, and would also not be under the mouse if the top window was not there. Having closed that window and opened it again, not happening now. That window was opened first waaay back in the distant past when I last actually logged onto X. Perhaps under some circumstances, it's picking the first window instead of what's actually under the mouse?
