:) being able to "interpret" methods as id's has similar benefits as the
objid's themselves... at runtime we can detect invalid methods when called and
"return safely" without an application crash. (we can also abort() as desired -
so debug mode builds abort, and production builds carry on as robustly as
possible despite programmer error. :)).
