It's been about 6 months since the E17 release, so I'm closing the E18 feature window; for non-native speakers, this means E18 should be considered in a FEATURE FREEZE pending release in 2025, which will give me plenty of time to fix the remaining bugs which most certainly do not exist.
Note that this freeze only extends to features which require a "significant" amount of code. If you're adding a checkbox to the mixer to mute the left channel, or adding a config option for a binding that draws a big E on the screen with your cursor, I consider that trivial and it's fine. Anything larger and you should really talk to me first. The base (meaning the one which will be in my personal devspace) E19 development branch will probably spring up sometime over the next couple weeks when I need a break from fixing bugs, so if you somehow have some giant feature dumps pending, you missed your window and need to keep waiting until then so you can rebase onto mine and not create a giant clustergit.
