I don't think you can talk for most programmers.  The virtual world
programmers that I know tend to deal in radians.  Plus, it's more
efficient to do so in SL style virtual worlds, since radians are native
to that platform.  Finally, I was brought up as a mathematician first
and a programmer second (understandable, I'm a dinosaur from pre PC
times).  I understand radians fine.  B-)

So by all means have an option to convert on input and output for
yourself, but internally, use radians, it's what the maths libraries
tend to use as you said.  Just slows things down otherwise.
