Ah, well I have a rotary encoder, and devinded it as a Relative-Z axis device. I wanted it to be 'just like a mouse wheel' but actually be an axis. As said, EV_TEST see's it properly as a REL_Z device, could it be that we simple don't handle that as an axis at all and ignore it? (I can give more config data if needed).
