The E20 cycle went about 5-6 months longer than expected due to Wayland complexities, but I expect that E21 will be markedly faster since "write a display server" is not one of the target features.
This time around, there are a few smaller Wayland features likely to be added as well as a rewrite for either gadgets or settings depending on poll results.
