I tried switching to the previous installation (I always keep the last one to avoid problems) and it cleared all my config, so I had to go through the wizard again. Terminology worked as expected. Then I tried git pulling and updating again and it still works. It must have been either a corrupt configuration or a specific git version with some sort of inconsistence.
