It seems I am down to the following question. How to tell if EFL is using Wayland? Before calling ecore_wl_init, without using ENV variables.
If that is possible. Then I can call either ecore_x_init, or ecore_wl_init for now. Eventually just calling elm_init as I already am. -- William L. Thomson Jr.
