Not sure if you're subscribed to this list (enlightenment-release), but if you 
aren't, you should be.

Release tarball links should ALWAYS pass through this list ~24 hours before you 
do the announcement. This gives people who do packaging some time to test the 
builds and report any issues, which will ensure that we don't have a case of 
the 1.8.1s again.
