Sorry, I probably got E-Disk from epplet-base-0.5.tar.gz.

/Possibly, I got all the epplets in an RPM package, epplets-0.5-3rh61.i386.rpm. Unfortunately, I don't remember from where I downloaded it. Could it be a conflict with the software combination I am running? I am running version 0.16.4 of Enlightenment, Gnome 1.4 (from Ximian) on Redhat Linux 7.3. Or perhaps an incomplete or different version of E-Disk was included in the rpm?

If you just want to kill E-Disk and it isn't putting up a close box, you can kill the process with the kill command.

Just look for its process number from the ps command. If E keeps starting it, quit out of E and edit the .esession file in your .enlightenment directory.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.
