Yes, so it is, I use the remember-function sometimes...
But here the problem so seldom appears that I prefer my standart remember,
if you want both, remember and "security" you could use a keyboard-shortcut to save
updates in the file:

1. remember the window-properties
2. press Strg-Alt-U (or whatever) which runs a 
"cp -f /home/USER/.enlightenment/...e_sesse... /home/USER/...e_sess...."
3. create the entry in the ~/.bash_profile as you mentioned above

So you can fast save you configs and load the settings from the save place.
(I belive the mistakes in the file appear when switching e off / logout.)
