Another thing, i'm doing a Live CD with E17 on it. It's only to show the
e17 project.


Nice idea, but is that really wise? as E17 wm is depricated?

The E17 window manager code is depricated.
New code has begun but will not appear in CVS for a few months I 
believe, so this is not the best time to be taking a snapshot :(

If you still want to you could use HEAD without problem, but APIs etc 
are moving from SPLIT to HEAD later this week which will break the old E 
code for good.

Perhaps worth putting it on hold for a while.
