Since I've always found it a hassle to create the umpteen number of menu items manually for all the OpenOffice executables, some time back, I made a bash script which did all the hard work for me. Now that I have some time I'm sharing it with the list. The script can be found on the following link and instructions are inside. Basically, just give it your OO directory and run it.
