But due to a lack of time, I didn't get to sit down and do it. ;-( If you understand how it works and you have the necessary time, you can try writing a script. My idea was to put a set of icons in a directory, then naming them like executables (e.g Eterm, mozilla,xmms, etc...) and making a Perl script read the directory and hardcode the cfgs to implement desktop icons. So that in the end you get desktop icons that when clicked, execute Eterm, mozilla, xmms, etc... I don't know if you guys figure out what I'm saying but anyway if you understand the whole tutorial then go ahead do some scripting and share with the rest! If by next year there's no script out yet and I can manage to find some time off work, I'll probably do it but I don't promise anything.
