hello, i have a ps2 linux kit (similar to RH 5.x) and i just compiled and
installed enlightenment and edited my /.xinit.d/session file. whenever i
start X, all i get is an xterm on a black background (no window manager).

here is my .xsession-errors file:
Reading /etc/X11/xinit/lang.d/en
Starting Xclients
Reading /etc/X11/xinit/xim.d/Canna
Wrong session name is specified in /home/bob/.xinit.d/session
Executing kinput2 -canna -cannaserver localhost
Starting xterm

here is my session file:
/usr/local/enlightenment/bin/enlightenment

any help would be appreciated.
Bob Newell

PS. i submitted a similar message to this one a month or two ago and got the reply:

"could it be that you forgot to put a newline at the end of the line that
launches E?"

no that does not seem to be the problem
