Hi All,
I'm finally done with some scripts that can pull E17 libs/apps from
cvs, compile them, build specs, make rpms out and finally place
them in an apt/yum repository.

THANKS A LOT.......!

So in principle, I can setup a cron job and make it do this daily. But for now, it would be like once in a week thing for monitoring purposes.

Now those who have rpm-based distro like Fedora Core/RH, Mandrake, SuSE,
Vermillion, and others can already tried it.

I use mdk i wil try download the files from here:

http://sps.nus.edu.sg/~didierbe/fedora/1/en/i386/RPMS.e17/

All instructions are here:

It's possible now to install let's say entrance by typing a simple
"apt-get install entrance" or even engage with a "yum install engage".

It's a mini repository. Well anybody who has the server space for a bigger
repository with SRPMS, Deb files, source packages can contact me and we
can set something like this up. I've now the tools ready for bigger
things.

I think i dont sure, that mandrakesoft its always there for thinks like this :)

For the moment mine is a small practical one where anybody can just update their cool E17 apps hassle-free!

If you want me to include other E17 goodies, email me and I'll place them
in.

For the moment, it's in experimental phase so email me if you find
something weird. Have fun! :-)

thanks a lot this is a great news

With kind regards,

Didier.
