Depends on the people. RPMS are not that difficult to build. I normally
take source autoconf/automake packages and convert them to rpm.
There's a more or less straightforward recipe to do that. Well when
you're use to it it takes 5 minutes to do that.

So with rpms, I can track better which files are in my system and where.
:-)

So RPMS are not that much of a headache.
