Hello John, Evas is not included in DR16.x download as it is part of the EFL, the base for DR17. Evidence uses Evas for more "eye-candy" so i would suggest you use it :). By the way your in luck there is a preview release of the EFL (just check enligthenment.org) Your sure to find other stuff to enhance your desktop (and play with).
