[e-users] eterm backgrounds

Eterm 0.9 on Enlightenment 16.7.1.  I'm trying to set the background to 
black, yet my Eterms still come up with images in the background:

Eterm -l -b black -f yellow -T lhotse
How can I turn off the background images?
