Well, are you using a standard QWERTY keyboard, with a qwerty map?in e16keyedit, i currently have Alt+Shift+left/rightArrow set to "move to desktop area on the left/right". and this is indeed what it does when i use the left-alt button.
however, when i use right-alt+shift+left/rightArrow, something bizarre happens. ctrl- seems to be prepended to all my keystrokes. so if i type a, it is interpreted as ^a, etc, etc. in the end, i am usually forced to ctrl-alt-backspace (although, in this case, alt-backspace would also work)
why? =)
Because I know that on an AZERTY the right alt key is mapped to extra functions, a little like the "Fn" key on a laptop keyboard. If you're using a localized keyboard, check that the localization doesn't map the right alt-key to another function than that of "Alt".
On an AZERTY it's used to access special characters, so some keys have 3 characters (regular, with shift, and with the right-alt) instead of the regular two we use on a QWERTY. This might be part of your problem...
Happy New Year
