Aha!  It all works now.  I installed "all" from FC2 a while back, then
upgraded to FC3.  The problem is some new packages get left out (like
gcc4, and it now seems gettext-devel).  I wish there was an "upgrade
all".  I guess I'll do a clean install when FC4 comes around...
