Ah, I see. How dump of me. After a  "yum install gettext-devel". "rpmbuild
--rebuild e16-0.16.8.20050313-1mn.src.rpm" succeeds with flying colors.

I do have imlib2:
imlib2-1.2.0.002-1.20050314.e17.fc3
imlib2-devel-1.2.0.002-1.20050314.e17.fc3

(And as I said, the e16.8 binary rpms work, just the src.rpm didn't build.)

Ok, thanks for the clarification, I'll check bindings.cfg out.

I just tried it out of interest after taking backups.
