Thanks, that is _exactly_ what I need. However Debian unstable + the
j.portalier.free.fr packages only give me 0.16.7.3 - is 0.16.8
considered stable enoughfor everyday use? (I noticed the CVS snapshots
on sourceforge) This is a work PC and the last thing I need is to mung
it =)
I believe it is quite stable, in the sense that I'm not aware of
anything that can crash it. But I don't consider it finished yet.
Errh - The Source :) E16 is not too well documented, unfortunately.
Heh - I've been looking for an excuse to learn C =). Seriously though, I
know e17 is the major point of focus at the moment, but if this stuff
was learned and documented properly by someone with a bit of spare time
(oooh, I dunno, say... me?) would it be at all useful, considering it's
soon to be a legacy project?
You are certainly most welcome to contribute. Whether or not it would be
a waste of time, only time can tell...
