I personally use fake transparency only with Eterm. i think it's the
case for most of us, E users... What I would recommend is to "hack"
Eterm launching rather than the wm launching. For example, change your
eapp execution command by adding e17setroot : 'e17setroot <your options>
&& Eterm'. I think it's cleaner and all you have to do is re-launch
Eterm to make fake-transparency match E's desktop.

fake transparency is not supported, never will be
e17setroot is a hack for those who "need" it.

According to me, the only way to change background using fake-transparency is
with e17setroot.
I don't know why it doesn't work with edje-files, but hey, it's not even
an alpha yet.
Peace out!

Well,when I use "e17setroot" all works,but if I change root background
with "emblem" background of Eterm doesn't change and it shows old picture.
Is it a bug of emblem?
The second: if I exit e and start it again transparency doesn't work again.
"e17setroot -g" point to correct .edj file created with e17setroot before.
Maybe I have to use "e17setroot" everytime I start e?
