hmm, weird, I made a CVS update two days ago (using gentoo here) :/

Do you have to restart e17 after changing this setting? (I doubt it,
every other settings works instantly as well)  


Well, until my next update I just use

-use-auto-raise-set OPT1
-auto-raise-delay-set OPT1
