same for me, but this does not happen every time. i have no clue why,

i guess because it's much easier to just delete the old setting then to
write a tool which can update all! previous configs to the new one
(which could be quite a lot of combinations) it's the best the devs can
do, concentrate on e itself, not on a config-updater (at least not in
this early stage of development)
