There is a compatibility layer in BSD for linux which should make porting trivial. Make a cdrom.h file which includes  compat/linux/common/linux_cdrom.h, then put any other patching you need into the new cdrom.h.

(I am looking at a NetBSD system ATM so your milage may vary)
