Hi there, being currently at the very bottom of the learning curve of developing e17/edje applications, I would need your help:
I downloaded and compiled most packages using the get-e.sh script (from get-e.org) (user=root, prefix=/home/x/local). Compilation went through and have all bins, libs ... now my problems: some *_test apps run, other not. for example: (under x11/gnome/fedoraCore4) - running: %> ./ecore_evas_test shows me a neat test application - running: %> ./entrance -T shows a black window with a mouse pointer and some scrap images on the shell, I got plenty of: EDJE: Error loading image collection "images/207" from file "/home/x/local/share/entrance/themes/default.edj" ... I therefore tried to see into the edje CVS sources and (e17/libs/edje/data) played with e_logo.sh with seems to generate a e_logo.edj. when running %> edje e_logo.edj, I get a demo window (2 boxes and window when clicking on "test") but also plenty of "EDJE: Error loading ..." message (Error Type: EVAS_LOAD_ERROR_GENERIC). any idea ? --JYB ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tame your development challenges with Apache's Geronimo App Server.
