Okey dokey.

Shall have a play and see if I can get something off the ground.

If anyone has suggestions regarding automation tools then feel free to drop me a mail.

E17 is indeed about 300Meg uncompressed.

The idea is not pointless, if it could be automated it may be useful -
and compressed would be cool too - see how it goes ;)

Oops, this should have been "on list"

Andy,

No problem. Thought that might be the case.

Was thinking though of maybe taking the latest cvs down and tar.gz it. The e16 sources seem to be about 1.8MB packed. I think e17 will be bigger (seemed to indicate 300MB last night unpacked but could have totally misread du) but manageable. Still if it gets too big and too frequent I will sign up to increase my hosting allowance.

If pointless then let me know but would like to help as currently enjoying using e17 and would like to give something back.

Kind offer - but that would be no way near enough transfer I think.

The repository is large, and only 20 full checkouts would kill your
bandwidth limit.

(If I recall correctly)

Hello,

Having noticed the problems that sf's cvs has been having over the last week or so (in my experience - it may be the norm), I was wondering whether anyone would want to take advantage of my web hosting space (www.phantomjinx.co.uk). However, I dont know the true size of e17 as I didnt look it up but these are the stats for the web space I currently have.

350MB space
3GB data transfer per month

Will this be sufficient for you guys to make use of?

Basically I bought the website but have been struggling to getting around to doing anything meaningful with it so far and am really enjoying playing with E17.

Just a thought. Let me know if it can help.

Regards
