Pardon me, the problem seems to be with two different versions of libjpeg.
I successfully compiled E17 on FreeBSD using trio for the printf "%a" support :)

There seems to be one problem though, the fonts in the menus and
window title seems to have been shifted down, let me try using a
different theme.

Thanks Raster and folks, for this wonderful window manager.

I'm attaching the patch to eet, if somebody wants to get E17 on FreeBSD :)

PS. of course, libtrio is needed.
