Haven't you answered your own question?
If it was uploaded by accident, then there is no official way of
adding modules to it.
Now, if you want to hack the code and find out on your own a way to
add something you can certainly go right ahead! That is what open
source is all about! You can even post tour findings on a blog,
homepage... Maybe even link your findings back here.
If you can't do it on your own, maybe some charitable soul can help
you with that; but I highly doubt it, since it would be a big waste of
time.
