right now there is  no way to do this. btw - those transitions are not
controlled by e directly. they are entirely theme controlled. e just calls the
transition by name "hey transition X - go now!" so it actually doesn't know what
direction it goes in - or what it does. crossfade is one of them that doesn't
have a direction for example.
