in x it's not possible (well ok not practical) to bind keys that are ONLY
modifier keys. alt, shift, ctrl, (meta/hyper/super or windows key) for example
can't be bound by themselves without removing those modifiers entirely from use
at all. so it's just not possible in x, and e won't let u accidentally remove
the use of your modifier keys.
