[1]  I do not have a broken system.

[2]  I build in the order given in get-e.org.  Have been doing that for
over a year.

Since we are making much progress with this discussion, I will cvs
update again & go thru the sequential build process.  Perhaps this is a
"snapshot" issue, i.e. my cvs pull didnt happen to contain the edje
update you refer to.  Ill let you know what I find.
