I am looking for some direction.
I am currently using a screenplay program called Celtx (http://www.celtx.com). A cool piece of software, built on top of Firefox.
It includes certain features (like reading the Celtx forum) whereby it will open a window in the default browser. I cannot for the life of me get this feature to work, nor can the Celtx developers advise me. This has the added effect in that generating PDF documents requires calls to the Celtx server. ethereal shows me that the calls are going out, but nothing else happens.
Works fine at work (Enlightenment on FC5), but nothing works for me at home where I do all my writing.
I am running on Gentoo, AMD64 (kernel 2.6.16r7).
I can't get to to work under Gnome or KDE (3.4 or 3.5) either. Can anyone advise me where to look? I know how to set it using the Gnome and KDE config tools, but that just does not appear to make any difference.
All suggestions greatly appreciated.
