Hi All -
I'm relatively new to the E project, and I haven't liked a desktop
environment this much since someone showed me FVWM. While it's fairly
simple to download and build DR17, learning to develop for it is a
nightmare.
I understand that E is still in heavy development, so the documentation
for the API is spotty at best, but there are a few pieces of essential
documentation missing. Primarily, the library reference on
enlightenment.com is seriously out of date. A few libraries in the build
order from the DR17 build notes aren't even listed.For those that don't
appear, I can't seem to find any documentation saying what they do, much
less how they work or how to use them.
I would like to help to correct this situation, but I do not know
enough of the information that needs to be included. If someone wouldn't
mind cluing me in on what all the libraries do, I'd be delighted to
update the site.
